1. Transportation
a. Motorbike:
From Hanoi, there are 2 ways to reach Chua Huong. One, you can follow Nguyen Trai-Ha Dong, to Ba La, turn left to go ahead Van Dinh. You go to Te Tieu, ask for Chua Huong. Two, you follow 1A high way ( Phap Van Cau Gie first) – this road is just for car, not motorbike.
b.Bus
Many Vetnamese youngsters choose to go to Chua Huong by bus. You can go to Ha Dong bus station on Tran Phu street. then you catch the bus to go to chua Huong. Or you can catch a bus at My Dinh bus station – the largest bus in Hanoi to catch a bus to Chua Huong. Bus number is 211, the route is My Dinh station – Pham Hung – Khuat Duy Tien- Nguyen Trai – Tran Phu – Quang Trung – High way 6 – Nga 3 Ba La – High way 21B- Te Tieu ( Dai Nghia town)
Besides, there is still bus 78 from My Dinh statio to Te Tieu ( crossing Nam Thang Long – Nguyen Trai to Te Tieu)
Or bus 75 starting from Yen Nghia Station ( you can catch bus 01, 02 to go to Yen Nghia station)
2. Moment to visit Chua Huong
The festival of Chua Huong is from the middle of January to the middle of March.
The best time to visit Chua Huong is far away the festival time because it is extremely crowded and expensive. People from all walk of life often flock to Chua Huong to pray for happiness, wealth and health.
3. Sightseeeings in Chua Huong
First, you will follow Yen river to go inside the Pagodas. Here, it will take you 1 hour to 1.30 hours to sit on the boat.
You visit Thien Tru pagoda locating in the bottom of the mountain. And then, you can pay a visit to Huong Tich cave. You can go there by cable or by walking to the top of mountain. Huong Tich cave is located on the top of the inside mountain.
4. Price for sightseeing
Boat fee is 40,000/per person and 50,000/person for sightseeing fee. if you go in group, you can hire the big boat accomodating around 15-20 people. Cable fee is 120,000vnd for 2 rounds, with one round 80,000vnd
5. Tour to Chua Huong
Group tour is around 500,000 to 650,000vnd
Private tour is around 1,000,000 vnd
