In Vietnamese culture, the motorbike is the primary mode of transport for the majority of families. From birth, Vietnamese people are on a motorbike so their riding skills are second nature.
Our Paloma female Tour Guides have been carefully hand picked for their driving ability, knowledge of local traffic conditions and English speaking / translation skills. You will be amazed at their skillful use of the motorbike in the Hanoi traffic. Female Tour Guides drive in a more conservative manner than their Vietnamese male counterparts. You will have a smoother, safer Tour with a Vietnamese female driving the motorbike.
One of the aims for the Paloma Management Team is to provide professional opportunities to young, dynamic Vietnamese women who wish to further their career in the Tourism Industry. The vast majority of our Guides are University educated and are very keen to meet and understand people from all over the world.

I want to share something about myself. My name is Giang. I am second-year student in Ha Noi University now. My major is accouting. English and Maths are my favourite subjects. I am interested in going out, seeing Ha Noi streets from coffee shops while chatting with friends. I also enjoy travelling especially many new places in Viet Nam. Being born in Vinh Phuc, living with my friend in small boarding-house, i got used to self-awareess and independence rapidly so that my parents did not have to worry about me too much. One quote I like most is: ‘’Learn to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you dream’’, it reminds about respecting present and promotes me trying my best to follow my dreams. Beside studying, I often join in some activities in my university and look for some suitable part time jobs. Having lots of money is one of my dreams. I have applied for many jobs in Ha Noi, with many thought like: ‘’ I do not have to take so much money from my parents like that.’’ or ‘’ Jobs will make myself more energetic and gain lots of experience.’’ Actually, from some part time jobs, I have been making many friends, expanding my own knowledge and knowing more about outside. University life has been giving me more and more opportunities to develop myself. After graduating, I hope I will get a stable job to satisfy myself as well as to repay my parents.
